Inclusiveness & Community

At Bobbitt, community is everything. Our commitment to service extends beyond our company and our clients to the communities in which we work and live. Our people come from all walks of life and we recognize the importance of diversity. We value the differences in each of our employees and subcontractors, their experiences, and their thought processes. Our people come together to bring building solutions to clients in diverse industries, from all backgrounds and with many unique challenges. We strive to be a valuable corporate citizen through philanthropy sponsored at a company-wide level, as well as supporting our employees with service projects that are personally significant.

Connect For Success S.H.E.D. Competition

Bobbitt partnered with American Drywall Company and Raleigh East Concrete for this year’s Wake County Students’ Hands-on Experience Day (S.H.E.D) Competition! Together, we mentored high school students by guiding them on project management skills and building a shed from the ground up.

AIA Triangle Barkitecture

Bobbitt participates in Triangle Barkitecture every year. It is a one-of-a-kind pet architecture and design competition to raise money for pets in need by supporting local foster and pet rescue organizations right here in the Triangle. Local architects, engineers, designers, and creative minds all over the Triangle compete to create the best custom pet architecture that is then auctioned off at the event with 100% of those profits going to pets in need.

National Wear Red Day

Team Bobbitt wears red on National Wear Red Day in solidarity with the American Heart Association to raise awareness about the epidemic of cardiovascular disease and stroke in women, which is the leading cause of death of women in the United States.

Women in Construction Week

Bobbitt proudly celebrates Women in Construction Week each year. Our team passionately empowers women in the construction industry and beyond!

Habitat for Humanity

The Bobbitt Team partnered with Habitat for Humanity in Clayton, NC, assisting their Site Superintendent with building two new homes! We are grateful to contribute to their mission of providing families with safe, affordable housing.

Adopt-A-Stream Cleanup

Bobbitt has teamed with the City of Raleigh’s Adopt-a-Stream program since 2016. Our adopted stream, Richland Creek, runs from Edwards Mill Road to Reedy Creek Road through the Schenck Forest. Twice a year we get together as a team to walk along the stream bank collecting trash along what must be the cleanest creek in Raleigh!

National Wear It Pink Day

The Bobbitt Team wears pink every third Friday of October in support of Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Join us as we raise awareness and stand together in the fight against this disease.

Hops for Hope

Bobbitt participates in Hops for Hope every year by partnering with local breweries to create a unique signature beer. The event benefits Children’s Flight of Hope, an organization that provides air transportation for kids with serious illnesses and injuries and their families to specialized medical care facilities that might otherwise be out of reach.

Construction Field Day

The Bobbitt Triad Team hosts a Construction Field Day in partnership with Alamance Burlington School System and Burlington Christian Academy. High school students are able to explore the world of construction firsthand.

Trade Partners Appreciation Celebration

The Bobbitt team hosts our Annual Trade Partner Appreciation Event to celebrate with our most valued friends and partners! No matter how Bobbitt has evolved through the decades, one thing has remained constant: our success is reliant on our ongoing relationships with our trade partners.

Construction Inclusion Week

Bobbitt is proud to stand with the construction industry to celebrate inclusion and belonging. Construction Inclusion Week builds awareness and provides valuable resources to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) across our industry.

DMF Foundation Sponsor

Bobbitt proudly sponsored the 2024 Lavender Ribbon Luncheon for the DMF Foundation! Business Developer David Cheek's successful fundraising efforts raised $35,417, contributing to the community's total of $185,690. We take pride in supporting the DMF Foundation's mission of easing the financial and emotional burden of cancer for local families.
