RALEIGH, N.C. (Feb. 3, 2014) – Bobbitt Design Build recently completed the new North Wake Miracle League Fieldhouse and Shelter located at 3011 Queensland Road in Raleigh. The Bobbitt team donated design and construction services for a new fully-accessible field house and shelter for Miracle League of the Triangle, an organization that creates positive life experiences through baseball for children with special needs and for their families.
“We’re thankful for our community, and we want to express our gratitude for years of support by giving back to a local organization that benefits people right here – our friends, co-workers and neighbors,” says Bobbitt president, Jim Bell. “The Miracle League of the Triangle is really a treasure for Wake County, and we can’t wait to see the kids play ball!”
Bell said the project would not have been possible without the generous support of subcontractors, suppliers and others in the community.
Now, in addition to its original facility in Cary, the organization has expanded to reach families in northern Wake County with a new baseball complex. For a child with special needs, playing baseball with other boys and girls is a dream come true.
