Oberlin Baptist Church, one of the Triangle’s oldest churches, expanded with a new building featuring a 300-seat, 11,000-square-foot sanctuary/family life room and education facility that is home to programs for seniors, youth and others in the community.
The sanctuary/family life room, lobby and bathrooms were completed during phase one. Phase two consists of the kitchen, four classrooms, technology/tutorial center, senior citizen resource center, library, conference/community meeting room, additional bathrooms and administrative suite.
Oberlin’s old sanctuary building is still used for activities and programs. The long-awaited new building brings new beginnings to a church with deep roots in the Raleigh community.
