Experiencing a rapidly growing student population, Triangle Community Church in Apex, NC, needed to accommodate its growing fellowship. Due to its 12-year history working with Bobbitt, TCC chose Bobbitt to complete this project because of the design-build company’s excellent value and performance proven during the construction of its initial building.
Working closely with the church to ensure the building met an aggressive budget target, Bobbitt built a new worship and ministry center called the Next Generation Discipleship Center for its younger millennial members.
“This fresh and vibrant facility helps us more passionately engage our next generation,” said Senior Pastor Doug Humphrey. “It offers our students an inviting place where they will want to worship, grow and belong.”
Conveniently positioned behind the church’s main building on 4216 Kildaire Farm Road, the 7,500-square-foot facility presents a contemporary church architectural style designed by architect Michael Huslage of Bobbitt A&E. The worship space in the NextGen Center is designed for optimal acoustics and viewing. Its modern bleacher seating is retractable, which allows the space to open up for multi-purpose use. In other areas of the building, colorful accents and structural forms create unique, visually-engaging highlights around the café area and the high open-ceiling lobby.
