Grifols, a leader in the production of plasma-derived medicines, opened its state-of-the-art North Fractionation Facility (NFF) in Clayton, N.C. Bobbitt participated in this project by delivering both the SuperSkid building and the NFF building architectural finishes.

These two projects were a key part of the Grifols’ $340 million investment in the local economy. These were highly technical projects, and the hard work of Bobbitt’s pre-construction, construction, administrative and safety teams made it possible.

Grifols is the largest private employer in Johnston County. Its products are used to treat rare, chronic diseases such as neurological disorders, immune deficiencies, hemophilia and genetic emphysema. NFF became fully operational in 2015 with over 200 employees. In this new facility, production capacity of plasma was almost doubled to approximately 6 million liters annually.
