Sometimes our relationships span decades, as is the case with our friends at Fairview. You see, we’re proud of the fact we built their original greenhouse back in 1987, when they were a popular wholesale garden center business. More than a decade later, Fairview had grown into a full-blown retail operation needing an expanded garden center.

As a favorite project of ours, Fairview’s new facility demonstrates how efficient design means more than just budgetary savings. This is a green building if ever there was one.

We took great care during design and construction to balance the structure with its natural surroundings – featuring a unique entrance and attractive barn design, with wood throughout. The garden center is visible from the road, yet set back to maintain the look of a farm – all the way down to its rocking chair front porch. Keeping with the green theme, energy consumption is reduced with the use of foam insulation throughout. And natural light pours in through countless windows, providing a pleasing backdrop with the rustic environment.
