Since 1946, Bobbitt has helped shape communities across the Carolinas by building lasting relationships, delivering quality work, and staying true to the values that started it all.
1946
Bobbitt was founded by G.E. Bobbitt in Raleigh, North Carolina.
1947
Bobbitt began partnering with Butler Manufacturing Company, expanding capabilities in pre-engineered building systems.
1986
Bobbitt established an Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP).
1990
Bobbitt expanded services by bringing design-build capabilities in-house.
2000
Bobbitt became a 100% employee-owned company.
2020
Brian Denisar was named Chief Executive Officer.
2022
Bobbitt opened its Triad office.
2023
Bobbitt expanded into eastern North Carolina with the opening of its Coastal office.
2024
Bobbitt relocated to its new corporate headquarters in Cary, North Carolina.
2026
Bobbitt celebrates 80 years of building across the Carolinas.
