Albert Ellis Airport Snow Removal Building

Bobbitt was selected for the Albert Ellis Snow Removal Equipment building through a public, qualification-based selection process, to provide design-build project delivery. It is a 9,800 sqft storage and maintenance building for snow removal equipment. It has an open bay for unconditioned storage, an equipment pull through bay where trucks are to be loaded with salt or road treatment chemicals, Three equipment storage bays, conditioned storage in the building in addition to an office, breakroom, full bathroom and full building generator. One of the contributing reasons Bobbitt was selected for this project is due to our experience working on active airfields (this building is on the airside of the airport, ie within the secure portion of the airport). The building is a Butler PEMB with MR-24 roof.
