 A 56,000 sqft aviation facility, designed to accommodate both aircraft maintenance and storage needs. The hangar itself spans 40,000 sqft, thoughtfully divided into two distinct areas: one dedicated to aircraft maintenance, equipped with specialized equipment and tools for servicing, and the other designated for secure aircraft storage. Complementing the hangar is an additional 16,000 sqft of attached office and storage space, providing ample room for administrative functions, parts storage, and operational support. The facility boasts a 320’ wide floating door system, enabling seamless access for large aircraft while ensuring efficient space utilization and easy maneuverability within the hangar. Bobbitt’s scope was to coordinate the architect and the PEMB engineers during the preconstruciton phase, then to supply and erect the PEMB building and doors.
